EPCES Registration - How to get RCMC for EOU & SEZ units
The Export Promotion Council for EOUs & SEZs (EPCES) was established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in the Indian government to support the export needs of EOUs & SEZs in the country. Over time, EPCES has worked to bring together various stakeholders, including the industry, policymakers, banks, financial institutions, and multilateral agencies, to increase competitiveness in the Indian EOUs & SEZ sector.
The objective behind issuing registration cum membership certificate is as:-
- To promote exports from India and to earn more foreign exchange for the country.
- To facilitate interaction between the EOUs/SEZs community and Government.
The EPCES registration is a way forward for manufacturers and exporters of various goods and services in India. As it helps small businesses to set up their units and take various benefits & advantages of the government. Schemes and policies.
Documents Required for EPCES Registration
The Export Promotion Council for EOU and SEZ units (EPCES) requires a set of specific documents for registration purposes. These documents serve as proof of the company’s legitimacy, its business activities and other relevant information.
Some of the required documents include the application form for EPCES registration and SEZ unit setup. It is important to check with the EPCES and SEZ authority for any changes or updates to the required documents.
- Copy of LOA, LOP, BOA & gazette notification
- Copy of GST registration
- Proof of export turnover
- CA certificate
- Self certified export turnover
EPCES Membership Fee
The membership registration fee for EOU units is based on their annual turnover:
- For exporters with turnover up to ₹5 crore, the fee is ₹5,000 + 18% GST.
- For exporters with turnover between ₹5 crore and ₹25 crore, the fee is ₹10,000 + 18% GST.
- For exporters with turnover above ₹25 crore, the fee is ₹15,000 + 18% GST.
For SEZ units, the fee is also based on their annual turnover:
- For SEZ units with turnover up to ₹5 crore, the fee is ₹5,000.
- For SEZ units with turnover between ₹5 crore and ₹25 crore, the fee is ₹10,000.
- For SEZ units with turnover above ₹25 crore, the fee is ₹15,000.
For SEZ developers and co-developers:
- For big SEZ developers (above 1000 hectares), the registration fee is ₹50,000 and the annual renewal fee is ₹20,000.
- For small SEZ developers (below 1000 hectares), the registration fee is ₹20,000 and the annual renewal fee is ₹15,000.
Note: The annual renewal fees for SEZs and EOU units are the same as the membership registration fees.
